1947 Armstrong Siddeley Lancaster
Our car is a very rare and special Armstrong Siddeley Lancaster 16HP saloon. Sold new in 1947 to a well to do lady in London, our Lancaster is a superb example of post war luxury motoring.
It is finished in two tone green which looks very smart and suits the elegant lines of the Lancasters hand built body. The interior is finished in period correct 2 tone with tan leather up front and a light cream Bedford cloth in the rear. The seats are very comfortable and are a highlight of Armstrong Siddeley's smooth and refined approach to car design.
Indeed the company moto was ``Silent as a Sphinx``, the Sphinx being the distinctive bonnet mascot of Armstrong Siddeley Cars.
Speaking of refinement the Lancaster is powered by a smooth 2.0ltr straight six engine. It also has a four speed pre-select gearbox which is the precursor to the modern day automatic. It allows for very smooth and relaxed driving.
1961 BMW 502 V8
Also available to hire at Garden of England Classics is this stunning 1961 BMW 502 V8 saloon. Nicknamed the ``Baroque Angel``, it was BMWs most luxurious car of the era. It was this opulence and gracious styling that earned it the ``barockengel`` name.
It is finished in a gorgeous blue with a cream cloth interior. The rear doors open nice and wide allowing easy access into the comfortable, and luxuriously appointed interior.
This is an exceptionally rare car here in the UK which makes it perfect for couples looking for a stand out and unique classic. The V8 burble just adds to the experience!
Powered by a 2.5ltr V8, this luxurious BMW 502 is a wonderful relaxed cruiser that turns heads everywhere it goes.
PRICING
Below are the packages we offer for both Wedding and Civil Ceremony Hire. These are our standard packages, which cover the needs for most couples. We also offer optional extras which can be bolted onto our standard packages.

This package covers pick up at your specified location and drop off at the ceremony. The driver and the car will be available for photographs before the bride heads into the ceremony.
A £95 deposit secures the booking with the final balance due 21 days before the wedding date.

A-B Two Hour Hire

This package is the same as A-B but allows for the car and driver to wait until the end of the ceremony to allow for photos with the Bride and Groom.
A £125 deposit secures the booking with the final balance due 21 days before the wedding date.
